The Granville Island Interactive Way finding System is an intuitive booth and user interface design that helps tourists easily navigate all the attractions on the island. Through an interactive touchscreen, users can quickly locate their current position, search for their favourite stores, and find the most efficient route to their desired destination. The system features both 3D and 2D versions of the interactive map, allowing users to seamlessly switch between perspectives for a more dynamic and immersive experience. The prototype, developed using Cinema4D for precise 3D modelling, Octane Engine for high-quality rendering, and Adobe After Effects for smooth animations, ensures a polished, user-friendly interface that enhances the overall visitor experience. This innovative way finding system brings convenience, clarity, and a touch of modern design to Granville Island’s bustling environment.
